About

I’m Chaandani, a concussion brain injury survivor and invisible disability advocate whose voice is often mistaken for a voicemail greeting when answering the phone. The exciting and demanding world of experiential marketing captured my heart years ago and I excelled when developing teams and bringing client brands to life.

However one day, my entire existence came to a shocking halt. Suddenly I was launched into a painful yet profound journey, fueled by an overwhelming amount of loss... all while “looking fine” to the outside world. Being able to see words but not understand them, trying to survive panic attacks and grappling with unwanted concepts such as “old self” became my reality.

Although I did not choose this adventure, I did choose personal growth and intentionality as the outcomes. I aim to inspire people who are feeling stuck or lost in their lives to access the layers of their own comeback story by letting go and losing themselves in the process. After all, the only way out is through.

About photos and images

I wanted my website to feel uniquely “me”, so the images used are all photos that I have personally taken. During my recovery, photography has remained a beautiful way for me to both capture and express feelings, especially when my brain wasn’t working well.
